IDEAL ÖKO ST surface heating and cooling system combines high energy efficiency with ecological advantages. The insulation elements are made of rapidly renewable straw – a readily available agricultural byproduct.
Straw heating elements with a compressive strength of 150 kPa and a thermal conductivity of 0.055 W/mK distribute heat evenly to the floor and room thanks to factory-laminated aluminum heat-conducting plates.
The system can be installed with minimal structural modifications to the floor, wall or ceiling.
Like the version with wood fiber insulation, IDEAL ÖKO ST is recyclable – ideal for sustainable new buildings and renovations.
