"mfh systems": Top 100 innovator based in Vehrunge

The mayor's regular visit in January 2022 took Viktor Hermeler to “mfh systems GmbH” in the industrial area in Hager Feld in Vehrunge. The innovative industrial company is certainly hardly known to most people from Belm, as the products manufactured in Vehrunge and in the production branch in Vechta do not appear directly under the name of the Belm company.

“mfh systems” specializes in the development, production and optimization of surface heating and cooling systems in drywall construction, i.e. floor, wall and ceiling heating systems. Emerging from the company Jupiter Heizsysteme GmbH, founded in 1994, which had since been taken over by the Danish group Danfoss, the engineers Andreas Piephans and Daniel Schuschan founded mfh systems GmbHwith partner Achim Nierbeck. The underfloor heating systems from back then have been continuously developed and are now offered by well-known system providers in Europe.

“At mfh systems our aim is, among other things, to optimize underfloor heating, to make it more energy-saving, more comfortable and suitable for refurbishments and renovations ,” explains Andreas Piephans. This also includes innovative electrical heating systems in the floor, wall or ceiling.

New buildings are not the primary focus of mfh systems , as new buildings are already being built according to low-energy standards. The modernization of the heating systems in millions of existing buildings has a significant impact on achieving climate goals . “Our systems are therefore much more interesting when renovating old buildings, among other things because of their low installation height ,” says Piephans, describing one advantage.

Mayor Viktor Hermeler was visibly impressed at the presentation of modern heating systems using models and a subsequent tour of the logistics and warehouse in Vehrunge. In our own development department, new products are put through their paces and tested according to standardized testing standards before they can go into production and marketing.

It is therefore not surprising that mfh systems was awarded “Top 100 Innovators” last year Since 1993, the TOP 100 seal has been awarded to medium-sized companies based on strict criteria for particular innovative strength and above-average innovation success.
